How about the other hundred still out there? This is just all for show, one of these people has her own suite at the Oriskany Inn...(OCJ)...prostition, as bad as it is, is not the problem, guys...it's the drugs! These people are 99% of the time already involved in a "recovery" system ordered by the courts. Seems to me, the focus for drug arrests are the "big" dealers, when it is the "corner" dealers imposing the most damage.

Lets get to the issues. Selective law enforcement. Drug dealers - ONLY the little guys are popped, the speed limit on the Memorial Parkway is 55 mph, Senior citizens and children cannot walk on the sidewalks on Catherine Street or on South Street because of inconsiderate car dealers. The city school district was bilked by contractors for millions of dollars with nothing done about it BUT UPD got a "few Ladies of the evening" off the streets for an hour or so. I'm impressed...

Where there is prostitution there are other crimes, drugs and oh yeah how about stds the girls are spreading around? The johns take it home and give it to their wives and girlfriends. Take them off the streets and at least force them to be checked out a couple times a year. Its not just their bodies these girls are hurting. The spread of stds in this country is out of control and prostitution can lead to many innocent people being infected.

Another case of government telling people what they can or can't do with their bodies. I'm sure these four women were a real menace to society. Good thing the police are watching for crimes like these instead of protecting us from self absorbed idiots careening down in their oversized SUV's while yakking on their cell phones. Which is more of a realistic danger; being accosted by a streetwalker or rear ended by a distracted driver?
