By Pat Bailey

More than a dozen Utica Police Officers are on their way back from the nation's capital, after attending a candlelight vigil as part of National Law Enforcement Officer’s week.

The names of 358 officers were formally dedicated on the walls of the Nation Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial Tuesday night. Among them is Utica Police Officer Thomas Lindsey who was killed during a routine traffic stop in April of 2007.

This was the 20th annual candlelight vigil.
