Runners Hit The Pavement For The National Distance Running Hall Of Fame Race Sunday Morning

Nearly 300 runners participated in the race and many are on the Newschannel 2 Go The Distance Team. There are two races that kicked off Sunday morning, one is a 5k race and the other is a half marathon that started around 8am.
For many this is training for the boilermaker...

Regardless of the reason people run, organizers say the race is a great for the city.

The induction ceremony for the National Distance Running Hall Of Fame will take place on Boilermaker weekend.
