I think it's a BAD set up, BUT I agree with slow driver" the only prolem with that is YOU can be the one slowing down and taking your time, but the other driver's AREN"T so this was bound to happen, and NOTHING will get done to fix this prolem UNTIL someone's life is taken ( and that's just sad)!!!! Also get rid of the right on red. To many people don't obey that either, they put on thier brakes and slide thru. You are still suppose to STOP,then proceed. Inappropriate? My thinking..there should have been built a major one-way, two lane road, around the outside premeter of the original lot - with two major intersections on Commerical Drive - one entrance and one exit. two blocks apart. Then build all the new stores facing that outer premeter road! This would have eliminated having one major inter- section with traffic bottle necks all the way up to the Walmart store. Too late now! The Square is not poorly designed, if you follow the patterns clearly marked in the road. I go in and out of there almost daily, and I find that courtesy, and patients goes a long way to not only keeping me safe, but those who drive around me. Remember, each of us is controling our own vehicle. If we all took our time, and slow down a bit, we'll have less confusion and accidents. Behave! Inappropriate? I laugh at people who fly past me only to end up sitting at the same light as me. Slow down and be more careful, it will help keeps the roads a little safer and save you some money. Inappropriate?
