Pylman Serves His Last Official Day as Chief of UPD

By WKTV News

Chief C. Allen Pylman made a quiet departure from his second floor office at the Utica Police Department.

Friday was the chief's last official day at the helm of UPD.

Pylman left just one week after Mayor David Roefaro announced that the chief and city came to an agreement. The chief will be leaving with a $250,000 buyout, which consisted of accrued comp time the chief and the city agreed Pylman had coming.

The Interim Chief is Public Safety Commissioner Dan Labella.
