Governor Paterson Ready to Train for Utica's Boilermaker

Governor David Paterson says he's feeling well enough after his recent eye surgeries to start training as soon as today for the Boilermaker Road Race. Paterson says he's in good shape.

The legally blind Governor had surgery on his left eye May 20 to relieve pain from acute glaucoma. Days later, he had another operation to prevent the problem from spreading to his right eye.

The Boilermaker is just around the corner, on July 13th.
