I concur with writer above who is also a single Black Mother. We are mothers just like any other mother white, spanish, or any other culture. I have 4 children and is somewhat educated. Mothers across the board are not responsible for choices made by their children, we can only give them the tools and skills to become apart of their community. Unfortunately once that child leaves their home it is the outside forces that changes the morals and tools that are taught at home.

to whoever wrote that the young man came from a single uneducated mother. how ignorant do you sound judging someone's mother because they made the wrong choice to sell drugs. i am a single BLACK mother who has put two sons through college. just because we don't have a husband either through divorce or separation does not mean that all single mothers are to blame for their children's choices. If whoever wrote about single moms is a man then thank God i am single.

It's no thanks to a community of diverse, fascist, and racist haters that's going to put Obama in office. A world separated not divided! How dare one would call another a scum bag! Those are such hateful words. I can only ponder where one would live, grew up, and what they are doing now. It takes a scum bag to identify another. And "I betcha" after you had that cup of Folgers and read the locals news, and milked that cow, you never took the time to wonder how a mother or father is feeling..

I know that we live in a country where freedom of speech is essential to all, but I find it sad that we only have 1 television station that would allow such hateful/ comments to be made. This is the reason why we will always be divided as a country.

It never seems to amaze me, how quick folks make opinions or assumptions about other individuals they know nothing about. How dare you say that this individual comes from a single mother who is uneducated. You know nothing of his family conditions, unfortunately drugs are a product of our society. It doesn't matter which part of the city, county, and or state you live in drugs are a part of a growing problem that needs to be address. Some of the comments made are hateful and racial.

How many people in whitesboro order their drugs, and the person comes from a different area to deliver to them.

It was the white people that called him to whitesboro to deliver a package because they didn't want to come to the hood to pick up their coke.

More animals--Betcha he was raised in a home with no father, single mother with no education or interest in raising her kids--not a soul in his life that ever taught him human decency or regard for other humans--drugs are probably the one bright spot in his miserable life. Let's hope he hasn't recreated himself somewhere--good job Whitesboro PD--now if the courts will just keep him out of society for 20 or so years..........but that's too much to hope for....
