Utica woman arrested after pulling a shotgun out of her baby's stroller during an argument

UTICA - A Utica woman is facing child endangerment charges after she pulled a sawed off shotgun from her baby's stroller during an argument.

According to Utica Police, 29 year-old Stephanie Wilson was arguing with another woman when she pulled out a sawed-off shotgun from the stroller her baby was riding in. Authorities also found three knives and a box cutter in the stroller. Police called Child Protective Services for the baby's welfare. 

Wilson now faces several charges including criminal possession of a weapon and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

More rehab, less jail? I am tired of my taxes going to people who EXPECT things. Sorry, but I was born into this world just like everyone else. I dont expect things handed to me, nor do I expect people to pay for my things. I hate the idea that my tax dollars go to the losers that claim they are disabled, cant work, live for decades on public assistance and medicaid, and have tons of kids. I should have my say..they should be sent to jail rather than to rehab...sorry

Utica has a lot of instances of violence. In broad daylight nonetheless. But, its like this everywhere. I'm in PA and there was a murder where the guy hacked up the body and scattered the parts all over the highway...and dumped the head out the window in a trash bag. What a shame this is, and protection is no excuse. I feel unsafe when I leave home too, but I don't carry weapons with me. It's people like her we need to be afraid of. People like that leave weapons around for their kids to find, to bring to school and hurt other innocent people. Think about how many people are in the grocery store at any one given time during the day who are carrying. You would never go shopping again if you really knew what they were concealing on their person.

I know a young girl that was jumped by 5 girls while she was walking her baby in Cornhill. That's the reality of why people do things like this lady did. This city is full of angry people that want to hurt each other. As I read many of the comments about, laced with racial inuendos.
