One person injured in early morning shooting in Utica
UTICA - Utica Police responded to the 800 block of Jay Street around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, police located one injured person and evidence of several shots fired. The injured person was transported to St. Elizabeth Medical Center for treatment and was listed in stable condition. The investigation continues and police ask that anyone with information call 223-3510. All calls will be kept confidential. I love how everyone assumes the person was some young thug. Its possible and I'm not going to deny that fact but not everyone that lives or is hurt in East Utica is a thug. It could have been a nosy neighbor who heard something outside or an old guy with Alzheimer's that wandered out of his house.
