Hitting the streets: Local reaction to Paterson's call for cuts

UTICA - With most people tightening their purse strings already, we hit the streets of Utica to see what people had to say about the Governor's call for cuts on the part of the state.

"This is a little bit too late, I think," said Jennifer Roberts of Utica. "It's been in a recession for a lot longer than that."

"I think we're living over our heads," said Sylvester Peterson of Utica. "As he said, we're living over our heads and we need to tighten our belt up."

"I think it would affect a lot of people in our community, with the database of people we have that rely on agencies help, like the United Way...things like that."
