Tyson Foods recalls 51,000 pounds of chicken
SPRINGDALE, Ark. (AP) - Tyson Foods Inc. is recalling more than 51,000 pounds of frozen raw chicken breast tenderloin over concerns it may contain soy. The world's largest meat processor said Thursday that soy, a known allergen, was not declared on the product's label. Tyson says the meat came from a plant in Vicksburg, Miss., between July 23 and Aug. 1, and was shipped to Tyson food service distributors nationwide. They're only recalling the chicken because it "might contain soy and some people are allergic to soy and they didn't have it on the labels. Unless you're allergic to soy it's probably just that Mickey D's is dirty and nasty and that's why you got sick. Inappropriate? I'll eat chicken until I grow my own feathers, lol. Seriously, give it away, don't waste it. I bought peanut butter yesterday and the label said "contains peanuts". Really? Peanut butter has peanuts in it?!?!?! Inappropriate? Alert Us!Add a commentMost Popular |
