Woman charged with Court Street fire offered plea deal
UTICA - The woman accused of intentionally setting a fire on Court Street on July 4 has been made a plea offer. Prosecutors say the incident on July 4th began as some sort of domestic dispute and ended with 19 year-old Ambur Dawn Fortney allegedly starting a fire on the porch of 1122 Court Street in Utica. That fire was one of a cluster of four Utica fires that broke out within an hour of each other around midnight fourth of July into the fifth. Fortney will be back on August 21st to either reject or accept that offer. |
