Former attorney sentenced to six months of house arrest
UTICA - A former attorney who stood accused of bilking one of her clients out of hundreds of thousands of dollars was sentenced in Oneida County Court on Friday. Mary Helene Hamlin received 6 months under house arrest and will serve five years on probation. Hamlin pleaded guilty back in June to a scheme that stole more than $350,000 from the estate of the now deceased John Hatfield Sr. |
