New Hartford "Make & Take Gourmet," to see change in name and services
NEW HARTFORD - While the owners of "Make & Take Gourmet" in New Hartford say the closure of another store-front kitchen in Fayetteville will not affect the local franchise, they will be going through some changes of their own. The "Do-it-Yourself" meal preparation store in New Hartford's "theatery" complex opened little more than a year ago. It's co-owned by Mark Brockett of Clinton. He says that while the store will not close, they likely will not be affiliated with make and take gourmet in the neat future. With a new name to be announced at a later date...a change in service will follow. the store co-owner says it will become primarily a "pick-up" food operation, where customers will just call ahead and take their food "to-go." These changes are expected to take place around or after labor day. The following comments do not necessarily represent the views of NBC-WKTV News Channel 2. I tried 3 different times to go there, but were closed. You would think they would be open at 6pm.
