RCIL kicks off contest to highlight Wonderland of Lights

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - If you have a special memory from the Wonderland of Lights, the Resource Center for Independent Living wants to hear from you.

R.C.I.L. is launching a contest open to anyone and everyone who may have memories of the annual event. Five winners will be chosen and featured on the radio. it is all part of an effort to promote the Wonderland of Lights which helps fund R.C.I.L.

"There are wonderful great opportunities for people with disabilities and I don't think people live to their full potential because they don't know that all these services and programs exist," R.C.I.L. Director of Development Diana Ellis Sorrento said.

R.C.I.L. wants you to send in a couple paragraphs of your unique story by either going to www.rcil.com or by emailing facesofwonder@rcil.com.
