Two Utica women under arrest after undercover prostitution sting

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Two women are under arrest, after an undercover prostitution sting in the City of Utica.

According to Utica Police, the Tactical Unit, working under the Operation Safe Neighborhoods Program conducted an undercover prostitution operation targeting persons engaging in prostitution.

The operation utilized a male officer posing as a "John." As a result of the operation, the following females were charged with the following:

  • Christine Brown, 46, of Utica - charged with prostitution
  • Anna M. Herrick, 44, of Utica - charged with prostitution and loitering for the purpose of prostitution
