HIgh School Football Coverage

By BRIAN SANDLER

CENTRAL NEW YORK (WKTV) - Day two of the High School Football season was a rainy one, and it definitely affected some offenses.  Dolgeville barely managed to slip past rival Mohawk 12-7, while Richfield Springs committed seven turnovers in a 38-6 loss to Oriskany.  In other action, Westmoreland overcame some sloppiness of its own to pull away at Clinton 28-16, Little Falls used a 65-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to come back against Adirondack 18-14, and Notre Dame was anything but a friendly neighbor at next-door New York Mills, winning 59-6.
