Oriskany Manufacturing permit approved

NEW YORK MILLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - Monday morning the New York Mills Codes Department issued a building permit to Oriskany Manufacturing for the first phase in the building process - the foundation phase.

The permit covers a 30,000 square foot expansion.

According to New York Mills Mayor Robert Maciol, the move would bring 50 current Oriskany Manufacturing employees to New York Mills with an estimated 50 more to come in the next five years.

"They're good paying jobs, and it's a company that certainly sells their products, you know, worldwide and we certainly hope we can bring them into New York Mills as a neighbor," Maciol said.
