Two teens treated for gunshot wounds after late-night shooting in Utica

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Two teens are being treated for gunshot wounds following a late night shooting in Utica, and authorities are still trying to figure out who's responsible.

The shooting happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday night at the intersection of Jay and Nichols Street in Utica.

Police say Leshawn Thomas, 17, and Zeffaire Hobbs, 18, were taken by private vehicle to Saint Elizabeth Medical Center. The extent of their injuries are not known, and the the hospital is not releasing their conditions to the media this morning.

As of now there are no arrests in the case, and no information as to what lead to the shooting.
