Man accused of killing parents, hiding bodies in septic tanks indicted

ELBRIDGE, N.Y. (AP) - A 27-year-old central New York man accused of killing his parents has been indicted on multiple charges.

Joseph Bisesi III is charged with one count of first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree murder, criminal use of a firearm and criminal weapon possession.

Police say Bisesi shot his parents -- Joseph and Jo Ellen Bisesi -- multiple times in their Elbridge home back in July. They say he then tried to hide his parents' bodies in a septic tank outside their home. A relative later found the father's torso stuck in the tank's standpipe - his arms and legs cut off so the body would fit in the hole.

Bisesi turned himself into investigators. He was indicted by a grand jury Thursday.
