Local investors have stock market concerns amid Wall Street Crisis

By PAT BAILEY

CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - Just like millions of Americans, several in the Mohawk Valley are concerned about their stocks, and more importantly their retirement.

Wednesday night R.B.C. Wealth Management held one of their quarterly meetings for their clients. The meeting was already scheduled before the recent concerns on wall street hit, however that ended up being the main topic.

Val Clark of New Hartford, uses R.B.C. as an advisor.

"We are not going to get a paycheck from our jobs, and we worried about our investments," said Clark.

Clark says after talking with her advisor she feels a bit more secure.

"I'm confident, but I also feel that the decisions we make ion the voting booth, in November, are going to be a very important thing we do", Clark said.

Clark thinks that many Americans don't understand that the current situation affects everyone, not just those who own stocks. She says going to the bank and taking out a loan for a boat, or even a mortgage, is not going to be as easy as it used to be.
