CENTRAL NEW YORK (WKTV) - Saturday struggled to produce many close games, as teams across our area were mostly either big winners or big losers.

In Class D East, Dolgeville and Notre Dame stayed undefeated with wins over New York Mills and Mohawk, respectively.  The closest game of the day came at Camden, where the Blue Devils showed they're not dead yet with a 21-20 win against defending Section III, Class A champion Carthage.  Little Falls also won a close game as quarterback Alex Chlus rushed for a late touchdown to cap a 25-22 comeback win over Ilion.  In a Section III-Section IV crossover, Oneonta ousted visiting V-V-S 33-14.

How about Dolgeville.....still going strong, but it seems to be somewhat overlooked by media....particularly when they play teams from the Utica area......
