Police seek information on "extremely dangerous" Utica man
UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Utica Police say one of their "Top Ten Most Wanted" is considered "extremely dangerous" and are seeking information as to his whereabouts. Police say Andrew Lee Abston Jr, AKA "Drew", is 37 years old, 6' 4", weighing 270 pounds. "Drew" currently has two warrants out for his arrest - both for different counts of criminal contempt. Police say that the "extremely dangerous" individual once shot an off-duty Utica Police Officer in the foot in the late 1980s. "This individual is extremely dangerous and any assistance from the Public could prove to be helpful in apprehending him," said Public Safety Commissioner Daniel LaBella. If you have any information regarding "Drew's" whereabouts, authorities ask that you call the Utica Police Department's Warrant Unit at 315-223-3580. All calls will be kept confidential. |
