Car accident causes power outage in South Utica

UTICA (WKTV) - According to Utica police, a motor vehicle accident on Oneida Street in Utica, caused a power outage for a short period of time Tuesday evening.

Police say a car hit a utility pole on the corner of Oneida Street and Ferris Ave, causing a small vehicle fire.

There is no word on the severity of the drivers injuries.

There are several street lights out on Genesee Street as well, police ask you to proceed with caution.
