NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - Casab's Deli in New Hartford is up for sale. The owner says two reasons are behind the sale, long hours and a bad economy.

Patty Casab says the deli went up for sale at the beginning of this year. She says a tough economy, and slower legs are to blame. She and her husband bought the deli 19 years ago, and have been at the same location ever since. She says the decision to put the place up sale was tough. A big reason she says was her best friend, her husband, is no longer with her.

"I would love to see it stay in the family, but I don't know if that is going to happen, She says.

Casab says there has been a lot of change in the past 20 years, and a lot of good times. Right now she and her son are running the business, along with some other familiar faces. "I have seen kids grow up in here, from infants to their in college now, some of them even work for me.

Casab says just because the deli is up for sale doesn't mean they're going anywhere. She says until a buyer comes forward, its the same old menu.
