Route 12 in Trenton back open following tractor trailer accident

WKTV News

TRENTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - The investigation into Friday night's tractor trailer accident on Route 12 in Trenton revealed that the driver, 33 year-old Jason W. Hardy from Philadelphia, N.Y. drifted into the northbound lane where his truck hit a concrete barrier.

The big rig was headed southbound on State Route 12 in a construction zone. The tractor was torn from its frame. The truck's fuel tanks were also ruptured, spilling about 75 gallons of diesel fuel on the roadway.

The cleanup was complete around 8:00 AM. The driver was not injured in the accident.
