Most other schools do, but Frankfort students have to pay $400 to take it at Notre Dame. The ones I see on cell phones are in their 20's,30's and 40's, not the kids. You can't judge all young kids, and you can't assume this young man was doing something wrong. We all have things on our minds, adults more than kids really, and all is takes is a split second of doing something wrong. Quit being so judgmental. So few people post positive comments here it is sad. This has nothing to do with the younger driver's age and everything to do with driver inexperience. Would it make a difference if he were 30 but yet only had his license for a few weeks? No, age is not the issue. Flag for moderationTuesday, Oct 14 at 1:09 PM Raise the DRIVING AGE wrote ...This is just another example of why the driving age needs to be raised... kids this age just don't have the maturity for driving... and some might also suggest that it might be beneficial to cap the driving age as well - or at least re-test the elderly after the age of 75 or so... there is an equal number of horror stories surrounding the elderly driving too. Bottom line, this kid cause the problem - remorseful or not, it makes a good argument for those that want to change to driving age to 18. I hope everyone is recovering well in the hospital, goes to show you that route 5S still is a dangerous route to take and people doing 70-75 mph should slow down the speed limit is 55 mph. The weather is changing and our speed habits have to change if we all want to make it home to see our kids. Slow down and be more aware of your sorroundings. Think green. Have a nice day. The vehicles appeared to be in bad shape and one young boy outside the vehicles was in tears. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this crash. Flag for moderationAdd a commentMost Popular
