Oriskany Manufacturing breaks ground on expansion
NEW YORK MILLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - Oriskany Manufacturing is expanding its operations in the Village of New York Mills. On Monday, the company broke ground on the beginning phase of its $2 million addition. The company started 11 years ago from Monday, and as they broke ground on the state-of-the-art, $30,000 square foot addition, the company was ovewhelmed with reasons as to why it's important to remain in this area. "The biggest reason I could say is that we have a well established workforce - loyal, dedicated, hard working workforce," said Michael Fitzgerald. "We had a lot of momentum and I'm glad to see we could finish what we started." The global tube fabricator will add at least 50 new jobs to the company.
