Two Rome residents charged with burglary

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - Two Rome residents were arrested Monday night and face several charges.

State Police say Sheldon Stoddard has been charged with burglary, criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of hypodermic needles.

Amanda Thaler is charged with the latter two as well as criminal possession of stolen items.

Police say they believe Stoddard is responsible for a number of burglaries in the towns of Westmoreland and Kirkland and that additional charges are pending.

Both individuals were remanded to the Oneida County Correctional Facility. They're due back in court at a later date.
