Dote In Court For Grand Larceny Charges; Pleads Not Guilty (Added 5:30 PM)

John Dote, Chairman of the Oneida County Independence Party, has pleaded not guilty to a charge of grand larceny.  Dote was in court on Wednesday to fight charges he was paid $2,000 to conduct a private investigation for a Utica couple but never carried out the investigation.  Dote also pleaded not guilty to a charge of working as a P.I. without a license.  Dote will be back in court at the end of the month.
