BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (AP) - A 46-year-old upstate New York woman will be sentenced for selling a 12-year-old girl to a man for sex
as payment for the woman's back rent.

Linda O'Connor of Norwich and her landlord, Dean Sacco of Jersey
City, N.J., were both convicted in August by a federal court jury of sex trafficking and producing child pornography.

O'Connor is scheduled for sentencing Friday in U.S. District Court in Binghamton. Sacco's sentencing is on the court calendar for Tuesday.

Both planned appeals. They say that the girl, now 14, was a manipulator who lied to police and caseworkers.

The girl testified that O'Connor and Sacco both took pictures and O'Connor sold her for sex with two strangers. Police did not find pornographic images of her on a camera or locate the strangers.
