UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The man whose murder conviction was recently overturned by the New York State Appellate Court was back in Oneida County Court Wednesday to hear a plea offer from the District Attorney's Office.

A jury convicted Ricky LaGasse of his uncle, Paul Jansen's, murder in the fall of 2005. Jansen was killed in his North Bay home. The Appellate Division recently found that the facts of the case didn't add up.

LaGasse has until December 12th to decide whether to accept, or reject the new plea offer from the Oneida County District Attorney's Office.
