UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The City of Utica is decking the halls, as holiday decorations started to go up along Genesee Street in Downtown.

According to Mayor David Roefaro, it's all part of an effort to make the city look festive. And with that said, the Downtown Holiday Stroll is coming up.

The mayor says he is calling on Santa Claus to arrive under the Stanley marquee this Friday, December 5.

The event runs from 5 - 9 p.m. and starts at the Stanley Center for the Arts.
