Local reaction to proposed obesity tax

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Governor is not the favorite person amongst soda lovers who may be paying more for the bubbly drink.

Many obesity studies point to soda as the single largest source of calories for people in the US it's sweet and bubbly and Americans have loved their soda since it popped onto the scene in the 18 hundreds and today it is a multi-billion dollar industry.

Governor David Paterson wants to cut into some of that money with an "obesity tax" on non-diet sodas, public opinion is as you might expect.
