Central New Yorkers bracing for winter weather

(WKTV) - Central New Yorkers are bracing for a major winter snow system that is moving though the area. All local school districts have closed for the day or are in the process of shutting down, many being announced Thursday night.

Meteorologist Bill Kardas tells us that the snow will only pick up in intensity and reports that visibility is less that 1/4 of a mile west of the City of Utica.
