Newport fire started near south side of building

NEWPORT, N.Y. (WKTV) - Authorities say they believe the fire at Humpf Trucking and Sanitation Center in Newport started near the south side of the building.

Officials with Herkimer County Emergency Services say the building is still standing, but much of the siding is burned away.

Officials say it's still not clear on what caused a fire, but arson is not suspected.

No one was hurt.
