North Utica water main break results in boil water advisory

DEERFIELD, N.Y. (WKTV) - There is a boil water advisory for customers on Deerfield Drive East between Firehouse Road and Cosby Manor Road until further notice. The water board recommends brining water to a complete boil before using.

The advisory a result of a water main break that had crews on scene for more than seven hours on Sunday.  Although they responded around 12:30, repairs were complicated by damage to an underground natural gas main.

Questions Concerning the notice can be directed to the Oneida County Health Department at 798-5064 or the Regional Water Board at 792-0320.

This story isn't correct. I'm not sure if they mean Walker Rd. between Firehouse Road and Cosby Manor Rd. but Deerfield Drive East is technically in Utica and is not between the two roads mentioned.
