Water main repairs on Commercial Drive today

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Mohawk Valley Water Authority is repairing a water main off of Commercial Drive today. This will increase congestion in an already very busy shopping area this holiday season.

Over the weekend, authorities requested people find an alternate route because shopping parking lots were at full capacity. The State Department of Transportation says to find another way around this week as well.

Construction is being done around 7:00 a.m. today in the westbound lane. There is one-lane traffic between Kmart and Hannaford.
