No smoke alarm in building that killed eight in Oswego County
RICHLAND, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities have released the names and The victims of the fire in Oswego County include 26-year-old Robin Dillenbeck, her four young sons, Dillenbeck's boyfriend, the boyfriend's mother and the mother's boyfriend. Authorities say the ages of Dillenbeck's boys were 6 months, 20 months, 6 years old and 10 years old. The fire broke out shortly before 3 a.m. yesterday in a two-story home in the rural town of Richland, on Lake Ontario's eastern end 37 miles north of Syracuse. The 42-year-old man who owned the home was able to flee the The county sheriff says investigators are looking at wood stoves that were used for heat as a possible cause of the fire.
