Man set fire to his ex-girlfriend's home in Deerfield
DEERFIELD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Oneida County Sheriff's Department has arrested a man they say set fire to a home in Deerfield. John Mantor allegedly broke into the home of his ex-girlfriend on Trenton Road in Deerfield and set several fires. Mantor is now charged with burglary and arson, and is being held on $50,000 bail. The living room of the home was heavily damaged by the fire. Three fire departments fighters were called to the scene around 1 a.m. Wednesday morning, and the fire was extinguished in roughly 20 minutes. No reports of any injuries. |
