Balloon released for woman killed in crash found in Maine

SOUTHPORT, M.E. (WKTV) - One of the balloons sent off in memory of 22-year old Kara Jweid has apparently been found in Maine.

In an e-mail to NEWSChannel 2, the couple says they found the balloon near their home of Southport.

They say they looked up her story on our website and were saddened to learn about the deadly crash.

Jweid's family and friends sent off the balloons on her 23rd birthday last year.

She died when the car she was riding in was hit by another car in Litchfield in March of last year.
