NYRI Did Not Donate To Spitzer's Campaign (Updated at 9 pm)

New York Regional Interconnect is not the company that donated $50,000 to Eliot Spitzer's gubernatorial campaign, the campaign said Tuesday. This according to the Associated Press.

Earlier in the day, the AP reported that Spitzer planed on keeping 50-thousand dollars in campaign contributions made by a company that wants to run a power transmission line through central New York to serve New York City.

 

 AP retracted that story late Tuesday evening.
