Carbone Boonville consolidates with Yorkville; Owners insist "not closed"

BOONVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV) - A car dealership in Boonville has shut its doors, but the officials are insisting that they didn't close.

Carbone Boonville - a Chrysler dealership - is no longer servicing customers in that location.

Alex Carbone says all of the inventory is now in Yorkville. He is calling the move "a consolidation."

NEWSChannel 2 asked how many people were laid off, and Carbone says he can't answer that.

He would say that the company is better able to assist Chrysler customers in Yorkville.
