Little Falls man faces charges of unlawful imprisonment

HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Little Falls man accused of forcing a female into his vehicle early Sunday morning is now facing charges, and is under investigation for related incidents.

According to State Police in Herkimer, David M. Lipiec, 44, of Little Falls, is facing charges of unlawful imprisonment after an incident on March 1st around 2 a.m. When it is alleged Lipiec forced a female into his vehicle as she walked along State Route 5 in Herkimer.

Lipiec was arrested that same day and arraigned in the Town of Herkimer Court.

He was sent to the Herkimer County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash, $40,000 bond bail.

The investigation into this incident and related incidents is on going, authorities said.

State Police in cooperation with other area police agencies continue to investigate whether Lipiec is the same suspect involved in similar incidents.

State Police are interested in any other victims that may have had contact with David Lipiec .
