UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Some local kids are getting a jumpstart in learning the wonders of science and technology.

The Children's Museum is holding its 6th annual Science and Technology Fair. A local student was just named one of nine finalists in Nasa's "Name the New Mars Rover" contest.

Aida Bulawa thinks the new rover should be named after Amelia Earhart.

Some other displays onhand were on wind power, minerals, and constellations.
