Search continues in Whitesboro for missing Laura Pickard

WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) - The search continued Saturday for a 44-year-old Laura Pickard who has been missing for over a month. Friends and family gathered at the Dunham Public Library where Pickard's sister organized a ground search.

Laura's sister, Jennifer Ferrusi, says the purpose of the search is to find out if the disappearance was an accident or involved a medical emergency. She said, "so if we find a pair of sneakers that are size 9 or 10 that might be a clue, any article of clothing, and of course we ultimately hope to find Laura."

Jennifer was joined by about 20 others in the search for her sister.
