Deerfield woman accused of embezzling almost $1 million from roofing company

DEERFIELD, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Deerfield woman found herself arrested on her 39th birthday, after a two-month investigation from the District Attorney's Office alleged she had embezzled more than $950,000 from a local business.

According to State Police, Bobbi L. Radell, 39, of Deerfield, was once a bookkeeper for Pulver Roofing on Erie Street in Utica. A two-month investigation between State Police and the Oneida County District Attorney's Office, Pulver stole almost $1 million from Pulver Roofing's operating account.

She was arrested on Tuesday, April 21, her birthday, and charged with second-degree grand larceny.

Radell was arraigned in Utica City Court and sent to Oneida County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.

She is due back in Utica City Court on Friday, April 24 at 9 a.m.
