Mohawk Valley EDGE names award winners

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - Six Leading EDGE Award winners were named at a luncheon Tuesday.

The six winning companies are:
-Daimler Buses North America, Inc, accepted by Martin Walz, Chief Operations Officer;
-Defense Finance and Accounting Service, accepted by Aaron Gillison, Director;
-The Economic Crime Programs at Utica College, accepted by Todd Hutton, President;
-The Hartford, accepted by Sandy Millen, Vice President;
-Resource Center for Independent Living, accepted by Burt Danovitz, Executive Director;
-Remington Arms Company, Inc, accepted by Joe Gross, Vice President for Fire Arms Manufacturing.

Also at Tuesday's event, Darman Manufacturing was named the winner of the $30,000 Mohawk Valley Emerging Business Competition for their DriGiene™, an automatic retractable cloth roll towel cabinet.
