Local pizzeria owner accused of inappropriately touching newly-hired female employee
NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The owner of Nick's New York Pizzeria and Deli has been arrested after police say he inappropriately touched a newly-hired female employee.
New Hartford Police say Nicholas Cavalier III, age 39, is accused of grabbing a 20-year-old female employee at the business at about 9:00 p.m. on Thursday. The employee had begun working at New York Pizzeria and Deli the day before and was on her second shift. He and the female were alone in the business as they were shutting it down for the night. Cavalier was arrested at the business at about 1:20 on Friday afternoon. He was arraigned at New Hartford Town Court and is scheduled to reappear on June 9.
