Candidate for County Legislator throws hat into ring

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A new candidate for County Legislator has thrown her hat into the ring.

Amanda Ashley has announced she'll run as the Democratic candidate for the 24th district of the County Legislator.
    
The district encompasses all of North Utica.
    
The professional teacher is up against Republican incumbent Emil Paparella.
